Yesterday while Kate was banging on my rapidly growing belly I told her that we have to be gentle with the baby. We don't want to hurt it (or me for that matter). In her best baby talk voice (she seriously talks like she is 35 and all things smaller than her are itty bitty)she got down right next to my stomach and said, "I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to. You are just a teeny tiny baby". And then she kissed it.
Let's just hope she feels the same way once it's here...

love it!!! bennett will come up to me and say "hi little sister" which sounds more like "hi liddul sistuh". and he has been reprimanded for the banging on the belly as well. what ARE we to do...
